SPORTS: Arsenal Crush Manchester United In Premier League Clash


Late Show: 10-Man Arsenal Beat Burnley To Go 2ndArsene Wenger finally broke Jose Mourinho’s jinx on Sunday evening, as Arsenal beat Manchester United 2-0 in a Premier League clash.
 The Gunners ended the Red Devils’ 25-match unbeaten run in the league at the Emirates Stadium, and kept up their hopes of securing a place in the top four.
Granit Xhaka opened the scoring with a looping shot from distance, which came off Ander Herrera’s back and went over goalkeeper David de Gea.
Wenger’s men doubled their lead three minutes later when Danny Welbeck headed home against his former club, following a pinpoint cross from Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain.
Arsenal remain in sixth place on the league table, but are two points off United in fifth with a game in hand.
Earlier, James Milner missed a second-half penalty as Liverpool’s hopes of securing a top-four spot suffered a blip in a goalless draw against Southampton.
