Abuja - The federal government is
set to meet with the marketers of
petroleum products in Abuja over
the ongoing fuel scarcity in the
country, Punch reports.
According sources at the Federal
Ministry of Petroleum Resources,
the meeting with the oil marketers
is to discuss issues pertaining to
the scarcity and why it has dragged
on for this long.

The government is said to be
worried over the scarcity of the
product evnthough it started
during the immediate past
administration of former Goodluck
Jonathan.
Meanwhile, the scarcity of fuel in
Lagos State continued on Thursday
as hundreds of motorists were
seen in long queues in front of the
few filling stations that dispensed
the product.
